Business Controller
Quickspin is a Swedish iGaming studio, developing high-quality video slots for the online gambling market. We were founded in 2011, and today are about a 100-people strong team with colleagues in Sweden, Malta, Poland & Ukraine.
We are now looking for an Excel savvy team player who wants to join our team as Business Controller in our office in Vasastan, Stockholm.
About the role
You will be involved in analysing and follow-up on company KPIs and company performance overall. Tasks include helping to identify variances in the actual performance versus initial targets and trends and organise follow-up processes around these variances. You will prepare monthly and ad hoc analyses/reports for the Management team, as well as supporting our commercial team daily with insightful data input. Using mainly large datasets and different BI Tools, you will make thorough profitability analyses and actively support the business functions with initiatives and projects from a performance perspective.
You will be working closely with our management team as well as collaborating frequently with our Finance and Commercial Teams.
Quickspin is a Swedish company, but we are multi-cultural with over 25 different nationalities and therefore use English as our company language.
Qualifications & Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree within Business/Economics, or similar.
- Fluency in English.
- 4 years work experience of similar tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to present numbers and financial data in an easy-to-understand way.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and feeling comfortable handling and analyzing a large amount of data.
- Excellent skills within the Microsoft Office package, Excel in particular.
- Previous experience with Power BI based tools and/or AWS Quicksight is a merit.
